I’m proud to say that Steve has been my ski touring guide in New Zealand, twice, including on a 4-day backcountry tour, which I enjoyed immensely. What a great guide and what a great guy! Steve instructed me on a three day backcountry avalanche course in New Zealand during the 2017 winter. With Steve’s wealth of experience and knowledge he easily facilitated deep and lasting learning for me. What also stood out was his enthusiasm for spending time in the mountains with people of any ability level. I could see that he loves guiding and he genuinely cares for his clients. I have transferred the learning from that avalanche course into my independent backcountry ski and mountaineering trips.
